This book contains 15 classic Christmas carols arranged specifically for three brass players.  The book is divided into four sections: B-flat Trumpet (part I), French Horn in F (part II), B-flat Flugelhorn Substitute (part II), Trombone (part III).  Ideally the group should be trumpet, French horn, and trombone, but I have included a B-flat flugelhorn substitute part which can be used if no horn is available (also playable on Bb baritone).  Additionally, the trombone part could be played by tuba or euphonium if necessary.  I have done my best to work some rests into each part, and to make sure that everyone gets to play at least a portion of the melody.  Most of the arrangements take you through the carol twice and can be elongated by simply repeating back to the beginning.  Unlike my brass quintet material, I have stayed with traditional harmonies and kept the melodies very straightforward so carolers can sing along without becoming frightened or confused.

Brass groups will find that these arrangements are ideal for use in Christmas concerts, accompanying singing groups, and can also be used by brass quintets as a way to grab some rest for two players in the midst of a long holiday program.  It is also a good emergency item to have in your library just in case one or two of your quintet members are late for the gig!

Each set contains three copies of the book.
