This arrangement is done in true New Orleans funereal fashion.  It begins with a slow chorale, then launches into a gospel shuffle.   Trombone gets a chance to improvise (there is a written solo for the less adventurous), and the trumpet does an acapella chorus accompanied by hand claps.  An audience pleaser!
