This arrangement is part of a series that Zack has created for Alfred Music and features the music
of great jazz composers. Designed as a showpiece when played in its entirety, each song in
the medley can be performed individually if desired. "Night and Day" features trumpet 1 on
flugelhorn with the French horn carrying the bridge. "I've Got You Under My Skin" is similar
to the Sinatra version and features the French horn and trombone. Trumpet 2 gets to play some
jazz on "I Love You" (a written solo is provided), then the piece goes into a tricky classical
fugue while tuba plays the melody. This arrangement is designed for experienced high school
and advanced ensembles.
