This is a soulful rendition written as a brass quintet accompaniment for tenor male vocal solo with 2 female background singers.  Before Sam Cooke got famous singing "You Send Me", his group Sam Cooke & the Soul Stirrers performed gospel music favorites.  Instead of the doo-wop style backgrounds in the original recording, this rendition has more soulful female background vocals.
